Hi Charles, I've tested Viveza a lot and was pretty impressed with the simplicity and speed of the U-Point technology. It produces superior results but the price is a bit hard In my oppinion. I've had just a quick look at the Power Stroke trial version but to me there were too much separate controls and adjustments for an Aperture plug-in and the results weren't that smooth in comparison to Viveza. And you know, I like to keep the idea of non-destructive editing in Aperture alive and use the plug-ins just for special cases ;-)

But I would suggest you download the trial versions of both plug-ins here and here since this is the best way to find out which one fits your needs best.

Have you had the opportunity to try some of the Aperture plug ins? I am most interested in getting user opinions about Nik vs Power Stroke. At first glance it appears they each address similar functionality but a bit differently.

Thank you
