Hi, my name is Matthias Kretschmann and kremalicious.com is my online portfolio and playground. I’m mainly a freelance photographer and photojournalist but I also tend to design and/or code delicious digital stuff.

Website techspecs
This Website is powered by the fabulous WordPress-System and uses my own designed and coded theme. All design work was done in Photoshop and Illustrator. The css-styled theme was handcrafted on a Mac using the awesome applications Coda and Transmit from Panic and CSSedit from MacRabbit.
The website uses some CSS 3-techniques like text-shadow and is currently (03/2008) best viewed in browsers with the webkit-engine, like Safari 3 and Konqueror. Nevertheless the website runs smoothly in Mozilla Firefox 2.0+, Opera 9+ and also Internet Explorer 7+. However every user of Internet Explorer will get a nice banner on top of the website, which will invite them to install a standards compliant web browser.
The smooth image zooming of the images in the blog is done through the cool FancyZoom script from Cabel Sasser. The smooth anchor scrolling is done by MooTools calling the SmoothScroll plugin. Thanks to Mike for pointing out how to deal with a conflict between mootools and fancyzoom.
All ugly styling of this Website in Internet Explorer 6 on Windows machines are fully intended and will not be fixed. Please don’t ask for those fixes and please use a browser which respects current web-standards, like Mozilla Firefox or Opera.
